We made a mistake...It hurts to confess, but our family of four was in a hurry from Denver to Aspen and we decided not to wait the 15 minutes to get into Juicy's. We went next door to the Riviera and the "knock off" menu not only left a fishy taste in my mouth, but left my two boys hungry looking for a late night snack. Needless to say, we didn't make the same mistake on our way down. Thank you for taking us back, Lucy. We love you guys!

With a line out the door and a hustling crew, my husband and I were surprised at how peaceful and pleasant our evening was. The smiling, clean, presentable wait staff beautifully executed every detail of our experience...Our mussel appetizer was timely and delicious..The Elk sirloin and Ribeye, both from local Colorado farmers, were prepared perfectly and the fresh asparagus was outrageous. The flow and organization of the serving team was superb! With a handful of local awards and an outstanding wine selection, I highly encourage anyone looking for fresh, beautiful meal, to check out Juicy Lucy's...and what a fun name! Thank you for a lovely dining experience, we will be back!

Loud, long, overcooked, did I mention loud? This place is way over-hyped... I waited for 45 minutes for a table (because they don't take reservations), then I got a mediocre-at-best, over-cooked, cold excuse for a steak. I saw one of the wait-staff eating fries off of my plate in the kitchen. I couldn't even hear myself think it was so loud, I can't understand why anyone would ever wait to sit down in there...

Oct 6, 2007. Six of us for dinner. We waited 45 minutes for a table and then were told that we could not sit together. They could not put two tables together. Yet a group of about 10 were already seated and had three tables together and were already dining. My husband and I ordered the special. I ordered the steak special which was $28 dollars. As we waited, people came in after us, got seated quickly and were served their meals and left. We waited and waited and waited for our meal. We were the last people served. A dollar menu meal would have been better than the steak I was served. I complained to the waiter, he disappeared and never came back till he delivered our check. He did offer a free dessert, but we had to pay for the steak. Salads and veggies are an extra charge. Very poorly run and the specials are over priced for the quality of food.

Juicy Lucy's is located across the street from the Amtrak train station. The 2pm Amtrak California Zephyr arrives in time to enjoy their lunch menu. You can have a late lunch before you have to make your way to one of several excellent hotels across the bridge (Holiday Inn Express, Hampden Inn, Best Western). If you don't have luggage, you can stop at the Glenwood Hot Springs on your way to your hotel and shop for a swim suit and enjoy a swim in their warm mineral water. Juicy Lucy's is also a good place to wait and have another late lunch or early dinner if the 12:30pm Amtrak back to Denver is running late.
